Great 1911 fairly light weight for afull size without distinguishable recoil from the all steel model. Accurate and fun to shoot I highly recomend. Oh yeah, great price too!

Great fit and finish and came with a nice Kimber range bag. Fast shipping from Bud's. I took it to the range and fired about 130 rounds, some 230gr. FMJ's , some 200gr FMJ's, some 200gr. LSWC and 200gr. JHP's. It was 100% reliable and very accurate. Very happy with it.

I recently purchased the Kimber shadow ghost lw .45 acp and was extremely pleased with it . This being my second kimber I have to say they make a quality firearm. The shadow ghost 1911 very sleek and lightweight in the hand . Having never held or fired a 1911 before I was expecting a big bulky pistol. Not so with this gun . It feels comfortable in my hand and recoil is not bad at all . First time firing it at the range I managed better groups with it than my 9 mm kimber R7 . Maybe it’s the 5 inch barrel compared to the 3.5 inch one but I like shooting it.
