Great gun for the money. Trigger is tight, and pistol is well balanced. Craftmanship is top notch as well. Wood work on grips is flawless. Just a nice overall 1911 without getting into the multiple thousands of dollars.

Nicely finished. Had a great trigger right out of the box. I've only put about 35 rounds through it so far(with no malfunctions) because the rear sight loosened up and fell off at the range, and I didn't have the correct tools with me to put it back on. I read some things about Kimber's lackluster quality control before I bought it, but I figured I'd take a chance. Hopefully I don't have any more serious issues in the future, because overall it looks well made.

WOW, I have been wanting a Kimber for years, so, I buy this gun, it arrives, I opened it, looked at it and then put it in my safe, 4 months later, I decide i'm going to carry it so I get it out, load it, and the magazine won't click in, I tried repeatedly, no atter what I do it will not click in, the safety is not right it will not operate correctly, I am so disappointed in this gun it's not even funny. So, I will be on the phone with Kimber Monday, hopefully they will fix it or whatever it takes to make it operational.

A beautiful quality 1911 by Kimber that shoots like a dream, an excellent addition to my collection. Love the target sites, started hitting the target almost immediately upon firing for first time. Wife purchased as a Christmas present for me and Bud’s made it amazingly easy for her at a terrific price. Great service and lighting fast shipping as always from Bud’s, very appreciative!!!

Love this gun! I was originally looking for a Springfield RO when I found this gem at Buds. Great looking gun. But an even better shooting gun! Yes- it needs a break in. But after a couple cleanings, and a couple hundred rounds this thing is flawless. Extremely crisp trigger and short reset. Target sights are easy to adjust and fiber optic is bright. Just buy it!
