The process through Buds was fast and efficient. It is a pleasurer doing business with them. The .45 Kimber is a great gun. I took it out and shot about 20 rounds just to get it sighted. Initially the slide takes a bit to pull to the rear, however, that will loosen up after ca. 100rnds. The group at 15 yards was about2MOA and to the left. The sights are not adjustable without tools and then only the windage. I will keep the gun with steel sight, however, will replace them with something that is adjustable.

This arrived in great condition to my LGS. After I got it home I took it apart for a good cleaning and lubing. My first outing at the range was great. In the first 10 rounds I had two FTF issues, that were caused by by my limp wristing. After that it was flawless. Very accurate. Very nice shooter with not a huge recoil. Very pleased with this purchase. Barry

arrived at FFL promptly, took it out of the box, cleaned and lubed it. Had some ftf’s first 50 rounds. Cleaned and lubed again, has fed every round since. LSWC’s , hp’s everything. Has a decent trigger right out of the box. Decent accuracy. Might do some trigger work later after I shoot several hundred rounds. Working up hand loads. I can say with certainty it’s gonna be my new edc. All the bad stuff you read about these guns is apparently written by neophytes that aren’t too swift.

I purchased this gun a while ago and I'll never review anything till I've had a chance to use it. Well with your typical 1911's I experienced a bunch of jambs, failure to feed and failure to eject. I didn't send it back to Bud's but instead I sent it off to Kimber. I was impressed that Not only did Kimber fix the problems but they ALSO covered the Shipping both to them and back! I haven't had a problem since. Bud's Gun Shop was just Amazing to deal with and stood right up to tell me my best way to deal with it was directly through Kimber. Before, During and After these problems....Bud's was Great to deal with and I always try to refer my friends to Bud's for any gun purchases....My next pistol I'm getting ready to buy will AGAIN be from Buds, so should yours.
