Barska 8-25x50 Excavator This scope has the long range view you need to see that target far off in the distance. For the money I paid for this scope and with the magnification it has, you can do better but it is OK. Granted its no $1500 scope, but the optics are pretty clear and the controls are very easy to work with. It has an illuminated reticle and it comes with a sun shade, flip-up dust covers and mounting rings. I have it mounted to a Savage .17 HMR and it has been spot on since we sighted it in. If you want to get the close up look at your target or pick that little Varmit out of the bushes and keep your hard earned $ for other stuff, then this scope is for you. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that it is not crystal clear when you have it zoomed all the way in on 32X. From 8-15X it is good then it goes downhill after that. Good for the price but there are better scopes out there for just a few $ $ more. I rate it Average because of good price and average performance.
