bought them as an experiment, already have steiners , nikons, etc, these reasonably priced binoculars were outstanding performers, getting the 8x28 trail tec next to carry with me all the time. Tested them daytime, distance, dusk, night, guess what, pretty darn close to the triple digit steiners.
