• Q: can any one give me their opinion on how much the slide spring resistance is on racking the slide back on the PX4 Storm, light , medium, or strong ? thx for any info

  Hi Doug and welcome. Spring tension is moderate for racking. A good technique I taught my wife to vastly improve racking on a semi-auto firearm is to pull the slide while simultaneously pushing the grip in the opposite direction. Most folks naturally hold the grip stationary and pull just the slide and must overcome 100% spring tension. This technique cuts 30 to 40% off the overall rack effort. Cheers and stay safe! • Q: Not sure if any action is required. The inner barrel tip of 9mm px4 seems to have lost some of the dark coating showing the stainless steel barrel sleeve. Is this normal wear? Would it affect function in any way? Only have a couple hundred rounds through it.

  John, some wear around the barrel is normal. Just depends how bad it is. If it's just removing the finish a little it's nothing to worry about.   Mike, yes, they make decocking levers only for this. Just Google ( px4 decocker ). The first site is Berettas website, they have them in stock for $50. Hope this helps.
