Browning Hi-Power Magazine 13RD 9mm Blued Steel - 9mm Caliber, 13 Rounds, OEM Origin, Standard Model

I thought I was going to have a rough time finding one that would work as well as OEM, but these are perfect.

the browning mag i bought and received was exactly what i was looking for i recently bought a browning hi power it only came with one mag i wanted to add another i searched for another at 19 web sites buds had by far the best price from the picture on their web site i could not tell if it was exactly the one that i wanted comparing the mfg number on other sites i found photos of the one i wanted on the gun broker site and others i took a chance and ordered it from buds it is in factory browning packaging made in italy just like the one that came with the gun and had a great price compared to others buds is the place to shop delivery was on time and it is new am satisfied in every way just wish they had better pictures on web site would have decided quicker to buy from buds

I recently bought an FN Hi Power surplused from the Israeli Defense Force. The importer had a number of HP in various conditions. Some were beaten up and sold as-is and others were in such good shape they were disassembled cleaned, worn parts replaced and refinished. I bought one that was refinished. Considering how expensive commercial (Browning) HP sold to the civilian market have become the FN HP was a very good buy. The Israelis live in a combat zone well all of Israel is a combat zone and to have a firearm that was worn and used in combat is more special than a Browning HP sold to civilians. It has a different story all its own.
Since the HP was discontinued in 2017, OEM spare parts and magazines will dry up at some point by people who will horde them and others who need them for legitimate repairs. I would like my FN Hi Power to be as true to the original as possible and that includes OEM parts including magazines. There are aftermarket companies that make 15 round magazines which is fine for most but I prefer the OEM 13 round magazine made by Browning for the FN and Browning Hi Power. Naturally these are not original to the pistols that fulfilled the Israeli government contract but they are OEM magazines
These magazines came in retail packaging yellow, black with white lettering and the gold Buckmark emblem. The magazines themselves were in a plastic sleeve and has the matte black finish. A quick cleaning with gun scrubber and they are ready for action. As of this review 05/2019 these magazines are more reasonably priced than elsewhere at $49. I bought four of them and may buy more. Since the HP has been out of production the price for these OEM magazines the price for them will only go up as supplies dwindle.

Nice overall magazine but disappointed with finish. Returned first magazine because there were minor scratches and various marks similar to worn marks on side of magazine, like it was a used item. Received a replacement magazine and it too had an inferior finish and similar worn marks. My old original magazine that's over 35 years old has a better finish. Also disappointed since I expected a high quality product from Browning. I know it's only a magazine and it's not seen when installed, but I originally thought that my first magazine was a used item that was returned. I assume that all of the mags from Browning are the same. I gave it 2 stars not only because of the mag's finish, but the higher expected quality from Browning.

You cannot go wrong with OEM magazines. Looks, fits, & functions like the ones that came with the pistol. Highly recommend if you want to add magazines for your Hi-Power.

Magazines fit perfect, and best price online. Received them within 4 days of ordering. Outstanding.

Nothing is better than OEM. I and throwing away aftermarket mags and replacing them with these. they cost more BUT are worth it.
