This ammunition is affordable for 6.5 Creedmoor. I had no malfunctions of any kind with the Winchester Deer Season XP 125 grain polytip. The group sizes at 100 yards were in the .670-.700 range when shooting from the bench with an adjustable rest. Sub-MOA. Not quite as small as I had expected; however, this is 125 grain.

I shot 60 rounds of this ammo from a bergara b14 hmr pro, and it grouped consistently at both 100 and 200 yards. Definitely recommend this product for sighting a rifle in.

This season I used this ammo and it did put my buck down immediately. It is fairly accurate however, you can literally move the tip with your finger! For that reason, I will not buy anymore and really couldn't recommend this ammo.

I was using these as 'break-in' rounds & general sight in rounds for my 6.5 creedmoor rifle. The rifle is a target type rifle, so it is generally very accurate (sub MOA). Albeit the gun wasn't broken in when I started shooting these rounds, they probably aren't bad for hunting ammunition. I was getting a 1 to 2 MOA out of these at 200 yards. So if a 1-2 MOA is good enough for what an individual is using for hunting, this is a great round for that individual. Once sighted in, I started using Hornady 140GR HPBT and started seeing tighter groups. The 140GR HPBT rounds are about the same, if not a little less cost than the winchester cartridges, but far more accurate - around 1 MOA-1.5 MOA. Once I got some copper fouling on the barrel and swabbed it out to get carbon fouling out. I started shooting Hornady 140 & 147 ELD rounds. The Hornady rounds, for around $1.16 per round (Verses 0.97/round for this product) are a far better value for target shooting as they are extremely accurate - sub MOA as they matched my gun. Yes, there were fliers, but I am sure that was the shooter and not the ammunition or the gun. Overall, I think the price is a few dollars high for the quality of this Winchester Ammo - especially when compared to Hornady quality ammo. I am sure that for a hunting round, this will do fine. Just don't be a little frustrated at the range with a hunting rifle getting 2-3 MOA accuracy at 100 yards. A field barrel without a target crown is going to likely lose 1-2 MOA over a target rifle. The quality isn't poor on this Winchester Deer Ammo, but for the price it isn't a great value. IF I were using this to hunt deer, I would try shots no greater than 100 to 150 yards.

Ammo arrived promptly and is of good quality. Will use at range primarily. Bud's never disappoints!
