The Ruger LCP II is the Best-In-Class Lightweight Compact Pistol. At just 5.17" long and 3.71" tall, the LCP II is designed to fit a variety of holsters and provide concealed carry options. It has a short, crisp trigger pull with a single action feel. The textured grip frame provides a secure and comfortable grip and the larger grip frame surface provides better distribution of recoil forces. The fixed front and rear sights are integral to the slide, while the hammer is recessed within the slide. Safety features include bladed trigger safety; neutrally balanced sear with significant engagement and strong spring tension; and hammer catch to help prevent the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled. Includes a finger grip extension floorplate that can be added to the magazine for comfort and grip, a pocket holster and one 6-round magazine.

Questions & Answers
Hi Michael and welcome. The LCP II has better ergonomics, better trigger, better sights and easier racking slide. LCP magazines will work in the LCP II but will not lock the slide back on last shot so stick with the LCP II Magazines on the LCP II. Cheers and stay safe!See 2 more answers |
Q: Is this item a firearm itself or is it a kit with the materials needed to construct and put together the firearm manually?
Mohammad, this is the complete firearm. It is ready to go out of the box.See 2 more answers |

Hi Pedro, The magazine release button for the LCP II is reversible for operation by the thumb or forefinger of either hand, so it is ok for right or left handed shooters. There is no thumb safety, so that won't come into play. The only strictly right handed control is the slide stop. This is not a deal breaker for many, it's individual preference.See 3 more answers |

last round. The LCP 7 round mag will NOT work in an LCP II... You need a Ruger LCP II 7rd mag for it to work, not an original LCP 7 rounder. Have a great day!
Lane, no Sir. As long as you use a quality holster or pocket holster that covers the trigger and common sense, you're perfectly safe carrying with one in the chamber. If you can find one, the BodyGuard does come with a Manual Safety : https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/411555332/s%26w+bodyguard+380acp+275%22+no+laserSee 1 more answer |
Eric, no, it does not. There is no magazine disconnect safety so a chambered round can be fired by its lonesome if need be.See 1 more answer |
Q: So there are mags you can buy for the LCP 2 that are 7 round mags, why then does this gun say 6 +1?
Matthias, there is also a 6rd magazine with the pinky extension as well. https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=lcp+ii+magazine

Q: This is advertised as having Single Action, yet after watching the video its operation doesn't look any different than how a DA works. Could someone please explain how this is different from a DA and why a SA is an advantage in a CCW ? Thank You !
This is the LCP 2. They have introduced a trigger safety and have shortened the trigger pull to give it more of a single action feel. Still is a double action.See 4 more answers |
