I recently purchased this rifle, and want to know what kind of rails I could attach to it. it has two screw holes on each and the bottom, that you can see in the pic, what kind of rail attachments would I need, I think based on the screw hole distance that I could only use 3-5 in rails. I would like to add a forward lower grip. any suggestions would be great

You may be better off by changing the foregrip itself to one with M lok style attachments

Corey, this will depend on the manufacture date of this rifle. The latest versions have a 1 in 7 twist rate for sure so Buds Customer Service will need to verify with their Inventory Dept. which this batch has at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon-Sat and 11am - 7pm Sun (7 days a week).

Doesn't 1:9 seem a bit slow for a 300 blackout ? I mean 1:7 is "ideal" for subsonic rounds right ? I'm just curious as to why Bushmaster would make a 300 with a 1:9. Maybe someone who bought oNE could explain to me what they bought it for and what was the attraction to a 1:9 blackout. I'm not knocking the rifle.... I'm no expert. I almost bought this gun until I started researching twist rate for subs. I'd like someone to maybe talk me into getting one. Thank you.

The 1:7 will stabilize the heaviest bullets better if that's what you intend to use.

Overall impressed with the product finish and function. All parts seem to be very well made. Tight clearances between the upper/lower, pins, safety detents feel right, mag and bolt release feel right. The bolt carrier group appears to have strong stake marks, the collapsable stock feels like it has good tight detents. The charging handle fits its bore perfect with no lateral play. The moving parts are prelubed and the gun is ready to fire. This heavy barrel rig is the most accurate out of the box semi auto i've purchased.

First impression out of the box is well made, very nice barrel, new style to me but not my first Bushmaster, but my first blackout, looking forward to giving positive remarks upon return from the range.
