Taurus's Spectrum was designed for concealed carry. This subcompact pistol weighs a hair over 10 ounces and carries six rounds in a flush-fitting magazine. The included extended magazine gives you an additional round and a little more surface area to the grip. It has low profile, fixed sights, a loaded chamber indicator, and an internal lock. A distinctive feature of the Spectrum is the polymer color accents located on the slide and grip.

nice little pocket gun, but gritty trigger; Im hoping it will smooth up over time. No failures as of yet with it.

The Spectrum is a decent pocket pistol or backup gun.\\r\\nEasy to shoot & fairly accurate.\\r\\nIt does seem to be a bit ammo picky. \\r\\nI experienced some light primer strikes, but because of the restrike capability, it fired on the 2nd pull everytime.\\r\\nI am impressed with the gun insofar as size, recoil management & accuracy.

Very pleased with the Taurus Spectrum thus far. Fired 100 rounds and no light strikes or hang ups. Love the size and ease of taking down. The one problem I\\\'ve had is getting the slide back on the frame. A local gunshot owner indicated the tolerances were tight and he got it back on with no problem. I was going to send it back to Taurus but they said there is a 12 week turnaround so I\\\'m undecided. I do love the way it shoots and no complaints other than the slide thing. It might resolve itself in time. Need to shoot it more. Bud\\\'s was very prompt in shipping it to me. Will buy again from Bud\\\'s Gun Shop.

VERY happy with this gun. Especially at such a competitive price. I\\\'m not sure how Buds sells them this inexpensive, but I am sure glad they do. I would not hesitate to buy this gun again, fantastic carry option.

I knew I was going to like this gun. I have another pocket .380 by Kahr, and it is simply too difficult to pull the slide & to field strip the gun for me to keep. With the Spectrum, the indentations on the slide are very good, and the spring force is lower so I can retract the slide much easier. To field strip the Spectrum, all you need do is insert the rim of a cartridge case in the rounded screw slot and turn 90 degrees. The slide then is free to remove. The non-captive spring takes a little effort to replace -- but it\\\'s do-able. There is no comparison between the ease of removing the slide on the Spectrum to that of the Kahr. The Kahr is EXTREMELY difficult to field strip, but perhaps some can learn it; I could not.\r\nShooting the Spectrum: I really like the safety of this gun (not really mentioned in the manual!) in that NOTHING is ever \\\"cocked\\\". As you pull the trigger, ALL the cocking is done! This leaves me with a VERY safe feeling about leaving a round in the chamber -- which is NOT recommended in the Owner\\\'s Manual. Do this at you own risk; however I feel OK with it. If you are ever in a gunfight, having to rack the slide before you shoot could prove risky.\r\nOK, NOW we\\\'re shooting it: It shoots well enough. The only targets I\\\'ve shot with the Spectrum to date were an 8\\\" plate rack at 25 yards. I didn\\\'t hit any, but I\\\'ve not used paper targets to see where I\\\'m hitting yet, and I didn\\\'t hit any plates. Not sure if this is too much to expect from a .380 in such a small gun either.\r\nOK, How\\\'s the trigger?: Well, it gets the job done. It\\\'s not as smooth as the Kahr, but few (read: almost no) DAO triggers are. There is some grit in the Spectrum\\\'s trigger pull, but it does not bother me -- I don\\\'t intend the Spectrum to be used for target shooting! The Spectrum\\\'s trigger pull can be learned. The sights are quite small, but again, so what?\r\nHow\\\'s the recoil?: With the extremely stiff springs in my Kahr, it is a VERY soft shooter; impressively so. The Spectrum may have slightly more recoil, but I don\\\'t notice that much difference. This is usually a factor in guns so small. \r\nPocket Carry: I think the Kahr CW 380 is the smallest .380 out there; yes it has fit in my pocket well for 2-3 years now as EDC. While the Spectrum is just a bit larger, I\\\'ve started to carry it with no problems whatsoever! If anything it\\\'s better because the Spectrum\\\'s surfaces are not slippery (in a pocket) so I put the Spectrum muzzle down in the pocket and it stays that way!\r\nFeeding: I\\\'ve not shot a lot with it yet, but the factory rounds I used all functioned without any failures of any kind.

The double comes for a Data entry person just that is not a gun person they saw double and typed it in the title Buds pricing is computer controlled here is what they say about pricing “Our website updates every 20 minutes, 24/7, with our current inventory and replacement cost. We do not price our guns manually based on our cost in each, rather we use a live download from manufacturers and distributors to set our price based on our current replacement cost. As our cost changes, the corresponding website price of each make/model will change up/down accordingly. Although our profit margin remains unchanged, our advertised prices will change frequently, sometimes several times per day.”
