  Hi Richard, unfortunately no. The following “firearms” are prohibited:
  ✘ Firearms with a stabilizing brace that are not rifles or shotguns that are designed to be fired from the shoulder, regardless of barrel length.
  ✘ Smoothbore (non-rifled) barrel firearms with a pistol grip, regardless of barrel length, including, but not limited to, the Mossberg Cruiser, Mossberg Shockwave, Remington Tac-14, Henry Axe, etc.

  Hi Jose and welcome. You will get lower velocity with the 14 inch barrel but still have plenty of stopping power. The 14 inch barrel model will be quicker handling and more maneuverable in close quarters. Higher velocity for the 18.5 and slower handling. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

  No, not whatsoever. This Must be shipped to your local FFL for you to complete background check & Transfer. Each FFL will charge a nominal fee for the transfer. Usually between $20-$35 depending on the FFL.

  Hi Steven and welcome. No. The Mossberg 590 Shockwave is classified as a “Pistol Grip Firearm.” That is how it will be entered into your A&D Record and recorded on the 4473. It is neither a long-gun nor a handgun. Only long-guns can be sold to those under 21 years old so this firearm can not be sold to anyone under 21 years old. Cheers and stay safe!

  Michael, the 12 gauge has a bigger bored barrel and uses the larger 12 gauge shotgun shells. The 20 gauge barrel has a smaller bore and uses the smaller 20 gauge shells. They both have 14.375" barrels, while the 12 gauge is a bit heavier at 5.25 lbs compared to 4.95 lbs for the 20 gauge. Both have a capacity of 5 in the magazine tube +1 in the chamber, and both will shoot either 3' or 2 3/4" shells. Have a great day!
