The Barrel is "Stamped" 5.56NATO so it will shoot both 5.56/223 just fine Cody.

I was have been looking at this ar and in the picture the quad rail goes all the way to the flash hider almost but in the description it says the rail is only 9" so I don't think that would long enough to cover the barrel in the picture. I'm a bit a green when it comes to purchasing and owning firearms so maybe the question seems obvious but I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated!

Diamondback - DB15*223/5.56 16" FDE 15" KeyMod Rail

Diamondback's DB15 rifle is made entirely in the U.S.A., starting with the tried-and-true U.S. Military-proven gas impingement system and using only the highest-quality components machined in Diamondback's CNC facility. This rifle features a 16" free-float, melonite-coated, chrome moly barrel with an A2 flash hider. The forged 7075 T6 aluminum receiver has a T-marked A3 flattop. It uses a Magpul CTR buttstock and Mil-Spec buffer tube.

Gun came new in box with deep scratches on it. I've heard Bud's is a little rough with their stock from reading other reviews so that was stupid. Besides that the gun is very well built and aesthetically pleasing. Shot a few hundred rounds through it with no issues and is very accurate. I would recommend this gun if you're looking for a mid quality & reliable AR-15.

Received the rifle to my local FFL. Good condition, rifle is good right out of the box, oiled it and shot it same day. Would recommend to future entry level AR, sleek look with the keymod free float rail.

bought this rifle and couldnt be happier. it is a very accurate gun trigger is very smooth and very short reset and will eat anything u feed it. buy it you wont be dissappointed.

A very good rifle. My first ar15 platform. Shoots straight. No feed issues or misfire (only 100 rds). The stock charge handle is kinda garbage but i was going to replace it anyways. For the price point it is amazing. 2 things to keep in mind thoigh: it is a carbine length gas system. Its hard to find that listed. And could be a deal breaker for some. And 2. Mlok and keymod are two COMPLETELY different systems and it is a bit difficult to find keymod stuff. Though the system is great and for $10 you can pit a 10 inch rail on the bottom and that will no longer be a problem.
