Cj, This would work, but why not get one that you could use the sling swivels. This sling just slides over barrel and butt. This does fall off easy even though they call it non slip on the shoulder. If you want a sling you can take on and off to cross roads and put in pocket when hunting it is good.

C J, this would actually be an excellent option. Combines waterproof closed-cell neoprene with Comfort Stretch backing. Reduces felt weight by 50 percent. Non-Slip Grippers ensure that it stays on your shoulder. Rifle models are designed to be attached to your rifle with Uncle Mike's QD quick detachable one inch swivels with Tri-Lock (not included). Shotgun models offer a loop system with a quality suede section sewn on the top to protect the finish of the barrel and a loop that slips over the pistol grip area.
