Hornady, the leader in ballistic technology, brings you an innovation in ammunition performance featuring state of the industry patented, FTX (Flex Tip eXpanding) and MonoFlex bullets that are SAFE in your tubular magazine. Its higher ballistic coefficient delivers dramatically flatter trajectories for fantastic downrange energy increases and amazing bullet expansion at all ranges. Last season this ammo dropped a 10 point white tail in its tracks, not even one step. I\\\'ll give it 6 out of 5 stars. It\\\'s far better than good!

Good rounds. They shoot a little lower than the ballistics on the box shows.

I purchased 4 boxes of 45-70 ammunition for my new Henry rifle. Buds had the ammo in stock and shipped it the next day. I was advised of the shipments progress and arrival date. The price was approximately $10 per box less than I could have purchased it locally. I was very pleased with their product and service. I will definitely order future ammo needs from Buds.

Shipping is usually determined by weight and your proximity to the store Donald. You can pick it up for the same price but local sales tax (if you are out of state) may not make the trip worth while. The big downside is ordering just a few boxes and the overall cost per round goes up drastically. Larger orders lower the overall cost per round. budsgunshop.com/catalog/shipping.php

Vincent, you want the 45-70. The 450 Marlin is a "Belted" Cartridge and the 45-70 is not "Belted". They are similar in size but not interchangeable. Picture here (you can view the belt at the bottom of the 450 Marlin on the right) : google.com/search?tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=0EkwW-G1OMXWzwKNg6TgDQ&q=450+marlin+ammo+vs+45-70+gov&oq=450+marlin+ammo+vs+45-70+gov&gs_l=img.3...13563.14706.0.14978.4.4.0.0.0.0.262.407.0j1j1.2.0....0...1c.1.64.img..2.0.0....0.4dxc-NfJtvQ#imgrc=bzoYYkH1qQmepM:
