Surprised that the frame would be that small, however talking with a retired police officer, he mentioned that it was easy to carry in a pocket. He said he wouldn't go anywhere without it--a great EDC. I believe it is head and shoulders better than a double-barrel, single-action Derringer. Also, it is rated P.

As always, Bud's service is excellent. Unfortunately I did not read the online reviews for revolvers coming out of the S&W Performance Center prior to making my purchase. The performance center 642, which boasts a tuned trigger and action, locks up with the trigger in the rear position and does not properly reset on a regular basis during dry firing. I have not and will not fire it until it comes back from S&W for warranty work. This all happened on Day 1 of receiving the revolver. I will never part with my classic S&W revolvers because I now know they can never be replaced with something new.

The perfect pocket pistol. The PC model has a light, crisp trigger pull. Lighter than my wifes regular 642. The grips are rubber, and the inlay is a little darker and not as red as in the picture. There is no internal key lock on the model I purchased. It's beautiful

I've found it to be a very pleasant firearm to own. The parts are well polished and it's fun to shoot by J-frame standards. The boot grips packaged with the gun are well made, although i ended up opting for a set of larger hogue grips. Buds was a pleasure to buy through and expediently shipped my firearm to my ffl. I look forward to future gun purchases through them.

Buy it. Perfect weight, perfect size, perfect trigger. Summer self defense perfection. Sometimes a man needs to get the best and it is hard to carry anything else. Bud’s is the best.

One of the first guns I ever bought. Fits right into your pocket and is easy to carry. Little snapper though. Shouldn't be an issue to a typical gun person. Bids was fast and simple as always.

This is a great revolver with a smooth surprisingly light trigger. Very light and easy to carry concealed. 38 special in a revolver like this is a bit snappy though. Fit and finish are perfect.
