  Yes. Anything's possible with enough duct tape and JB weld. But what you're describing would be relatively simple, straight forward, and should result in a factory appearance. Good Luck!

This rifle features a 16" free-float, melonite-coated, chrome moly barrel with an A2 flash hider, and a carbine-length gas system. The forged 7075 T6 aluminum receiver has a T-marked A3 flattop.   John, my DB15 purchased from Buds a few months ago matches perfectly as far as upper/lower. Earlier models, maybe, but DB's now are good to go finish match wise.
