• Q: Just got this carbine, spent a bit extra to get the grip and two 20 round mags but the mags are wider than the 10 round high point brand mag that's in the gun originally and won't go in, I carefully tried to force it and it just was not having it. Any thoughts? They came in the box with the rest of the gun, all new.

  Randy, yes sir, this has a threaded barrel with 1/2×28 threads. All hipoint carbines now come standard with a threaded barrel. Hope this helps.

• Q: I'm left handed and I've handled this rifle but never shot it. I'm concerned about accidentally releasing the mag when firing due to the release button placement and me being left handed. Have any left handed shooters reported a problem with this?

  Matt, my brother is a lefty and has no issue with his Hi Point Carbine with the controls. They are not difficult to navigate when shooting and just takes a little bit of adjusting. Cheers and stay safe!

• Q: Does this rifle reliably feed hollow points or does it jam a lot and have feed issues?🤔

  Charles, this will feed HP cartridges just fine. I've never had an issue with it cycling in mine. Some of the issues I've seen with HP's were with re-loaded ammunition. Have a great day!

• Q: Can I use other manufacturers magazines or is there an adapter to allow for use of other manufacturer's magazines.

  Joseph, the Hi-Point uses a proprietary magazine, and there are no adapters that I'm aware of.
