Rick - it will 'fit' but will protrude below the grip - and using a full size magazine in the 3" EMP without a sleeve on the magazine can result in over insertion of the mag which could possibly bend your ejector. If you use it without the sleeve around the bottom of the mag, just take care to not "slam" it into place. Insert it only until it locks into place. That's much too nice of a gun to damage it simply to gain a couple of rounds in mag capacity. I believe Wilson Combat makes sleeves that go on the mags, to prevent over insertion, but not sure about that. Plus, the spring tension in larger mags is different than the officer size mags, and can result in the pistol not properly stripping the next round from the magazine and cause feeding problems.
