• Q: I just wanted to confirm this is a 1911-A1? And is there any difference between this PB9108LCA and the PB9108L? According to the California legal handgun site it seems it doesn't require the CA at the end.

  yes it is a 1911a1 model "The M1911A1 changes to the original design consisted of a shorter trigger, cutouts in the frame behind the trigger, an arched mainspring housing, a longer grip safety spur (to prevent hammer bite), a wider front sight, a shortened hammer spur" and yes I think its CA approved but it does not show up under the buds CA approved pistol list so I suggest that you contact Buds prior to ordering customer service (859) 368-0371 available 9AM to 9PM CST Monday through Friday or use the blue chat now button . we are not buds employees we are volunteers that answer questions

• Q: I have put one of these on Lay Away (09-2017) and was wondering if they are made in Brazil? I have heard the ones with the NM ser. no. prefix are USA made (being that 51% of the gun was made in the USA). Is this batch marked made in Brazil?
