Now that I have had time to use this range finder, I gotta tell you it is fantastic. I started resurveying my wooded mountain property and my neighbors. We just wanted to verify stakes, ect. In the old days they pulled a chain to measure the surveys. Tough job when you are on mountain land and then comes GPS units. The only problem was converting survey coordinates to a compass. We nailed the range every single time. Ok I am a long gun guy. I have an old Redfield accutrac scope on a 3006. Best straight shot we could come up with was 600 yards on this finder. It totally agreed with the built in range finder in the scope. Dead on. I didn't have any problems with trees or shinny object. I love ability to choose between different functions. Easy and quick. The eye adjustments are great. I put maybe 30 hours or so on the battery. It still tests strong. Not bad. Thanks Buds, quick and excellent service as always.
