The Crickett rifle is specifically designed with the beginning shooter in mind. This is a compact, light weight, single shot bolt action with excellent safety features. It requires manual cocking and has a rebounding firing pin block to prevent an unintentional discharge.

I bought this for my daughter as her first rifle, and she fell in love with it. It’s made her first shooting experience memorable. It cycles smoothly and is nice for teaching beginners how to shoot properly. The sights could be improved upon but they’ll do for the task.

I bought earlier "pink Crickets" and they were excellent "first rifles" for my great grandchildren. The stocks on these most recent rifles are even better. Overall I am very pleased with the look and function of these rifles. If I am blessed with more Great Grandchildren I will be buying more Cricket "My first rifle" 's.

Got this for my 7 year old granddaughter and she loves it. And she’s getting quite good with it.

Perfect little gun for learning. I started my daughter with a nerf rivals rifle as a "practice gun" to learn basic safety and then when she turned 5 we got this keystone crickett. It fits her just fine and shooting bags makes things easier for her. The iron sights arnt bad, but the scope mount and a cheap red dot are well worth the fun they add for the little one

I bought this for my daughter as her first rifle. It works great. Theres nothing too fancy about the rifle. It's a single shot bolt action .22 caliber rifle with no frills, but Crickett built their rifles with safety in mind. The pulling mechanism required to fire helps to avoid a negligent discharge. Perfect for getting your kid into youth shooting.

My 8 yr. old daughter loves this rifle; she thoroughly enjoys shooting this. Pink color makes her feel like she owns a truly unique rifle compared to most of the Black and Tan guns/rifles at the range. Rifle is accurate right out of the box, and no misfires. Buds did a terrific job communicating via email on status of order as it moved through the process. Order arrived very quickly and there were NO ISSUES AT ALL. Will be back for more orders as soon as possible. Great service and good choice of products.
