If you are a 1911 fan - buy this gun . Well made , shoots great , looks great . Remington hit it out of the ballpark with this gun . Buy it from Buds and have the perfect transaction .

I have wanted a double stack 45 for some time and had considered a Para Ordinance but have held off because some of my friends who owned them had mixed reviews of them, especially feeding issues. Some of the other 2011s are a little too pricey for me to consider. Did a little research and found out Remington has given Para a rebirth with some improvements and thought I would give it a try. Have not been disappointed. Remington not only has added a round capacity to their magazine but has apparently improved feeding issues as well. Several 100 rounds of various ammo through this gun with no feeding issues at all. Semi wadcutters also feed flawlessly. Accuracy is very good as well. Finish is excellent. Fit was not as tight as I expected but certainly acceptable. The only thing that I do not like about the gun is more of a personal preference, in my opinion there is too much light around the front sight when aligning your sight picture. That is an easy fix with a new wider front sight. This gun is new to the market and when I bought it, Remington hadn't released extra magazines for sale yet. Customer service at Remington stated that they would be doing that in a month to 6 weeks. Well pleased with the purchase price at Bud's plus the rebate from Remington made it a no brainer for me to give it a try. Have been well pleased with the gun and all of its features.
