Smith & Wesson M41 10+1 .22 LR 5.5"

Very Accurate .22 Cal. target pistol. This thing shoots with guns costing lots more & still stays within competition size & weight limitations. The S&W M41 still deserves its great reputation with this one.

Fit and finish is excellent. The M41 is easy to take apart for cleaning. The pistol is as accurate as a rifle.

Had one of the older models for several years before selling it. Decided to get a new one. This one shoots good but the overall craftsmanship is definitely not as good as the earlier version. Would still recommend this Gun as it is very accurate and fun to shoot.

This is my second S&W Model 41 Pistol! This is by far, the BEST and most accurate pistol that I have ever fired. Yes, it is an expensive pistol, but for a pistol that is made from all steel with very high quality bluing and beautiful walnut grip panels made with very tight tolerances, it is worth it.. According to Smith & Wesson’s website, Used by national level competitors for acute precision in competition, the Model 41 is considered one of the best .22 target pistols ever manufactured. Produced for the the civilian market since 1956, there has to be a reason for this firearm to remain in production. At 25 yards, my pistol will put 5 rounds in a standard target that you can put a penney over. It takes about 10 seconds to field strip and a few minutes to clean, lube and put back together. Buds made the purchase effortless and I was very impressed as always. I highly recommend this pistol and the 90 day layaway makes this $1199.00 handgun affordable!

I've been looking for a model 41 for quite some time - not many new ones are available. When I saw it on Bud's website I went ahead and purchased it. This was my first Bud's purchase and first online buy and the whole experience went very smoothly. Bud's customer service led me through the steps. Initial impressions of the model 41 - very well built with precisely fitted parts. I was able to shoot a 10 shot group at 50' into 1.5", which is more a reflection of my limits rather than the pistol. Overall I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

My gun arrived last week. There were dark streaks in the bluing on the left side of the barrel, and dark blue streaks on the right side of the slide. I cleaned it when I got it and there seemed to be a large amount of powder residue in the gun. There also seemed to be unusual wear on the rails and around the breech area for a new gun. It was as if the gun was used. I am very unhappy with my purchase and have sent it to S&W for them to look at.
