At just 1" wide, SCCY's CPX-1 Gen 2 is a great conceal carry pistol in 9mm. It features a 3.1" barrel, carbon black stainless steel slide with a self lubricating hard nitrate treatment and a scratch resistant black nitrate surface. The barrel is machined from bar stock with 7 lands and grooves having a 16:1 right hand twist. The receiver is made of 7075-T6 aircraft grade heat treated aluminum alloy machined from bar stock. The grip/frame is made from purple Zytel polymer with ergonomic finger grooves and an integral "Re-coil Cushion" on the backstrap. It is double action oly with a 9-lb trigger pull, and has an internal hammer with inertial firing pin to prevent accidental discharge if dropped. The CPX-1 has a maunal safety. Included with the CPX-1 are two double stack 10-round magazines with a finger extension base installed and 2 flat bottom bases.

This is a fine shooting pistol. It is dry and needed a drop or two of Rem oil. Everything is tight as it should be and fires better the more round that are put through it. My girlfriend is 66 and fires this little purple people eater very well. It's accuracy is fine and as expected. I am very happy with the purchase and would buy SCCY again.

Very nice, Affordable hand gun! I was prepared for an awful trigger pull but that is not the case. It's a typical double action trigger.

So far I'm satisfied with my purchase tho thanks to the Coronavirus I still havent been able to get out and shoot it so cant really give an accurate review at this time.

This gun has the absolute worst trigger of any gun i have ever shot. The trigger has what feels like a 15lb pull! My wife had to use two fingers to fire it. My 17 year old son (who is not a small kid) had issues with it as well.
Id went bang every time,no mis feeds, hangups etc, but thats about all i can say positive for this gun.

Great little plinking pistol. Excellent value. Super simple. Manual safety on a double action trigger seems redundant, but the wife wanted a safety & is very happy with her selection.

Bought this purple 9mm for my wife she and I both love it. At first we had trouble sighting it in but we figured it out. good gun for the money.
