Purchased this handgun to practice shooting 1911’s with, and 22 ammo is very cheap comparably. I was extremely impressed with the quality of this pistol, it was much better than I expected! The gun felt like some of my expensive 1911 platforms costing in the thousands. Came with a nice plastic case and a couple small tools to clean and maintain the gun. It ran any ammo i put through it, from bulk 22 LR to more expensive high velocity. Bud’s shipping was quick to my FFL. And I was extremely satisfied overall! I will be ordering more from Bud’s!!

Fantastic addition to the collection. Perfect weight and size for the grandsons. .22 cal plus the 'government' weight provides low recoil. Great training firearm. Cycles well with standard ammo and is just a treat to shoot.

This is a really good firearm. Feels good in my hand and shoots straight. I haven't had it for very long but the few times I fired it I was really happy with it.

The gun is accurate out of the box. So i was happy no filing the front sight. But it light strikes at least 2 rounds per mag. Some times have to restrike 3 times. Other than that it is fun to plink with.

I am very happy with the chippia 1911 22 so far. I want to buy an extra magazine but don't want to pay as I will much for the mag as it costs to ship it. Can you help me with.this

I really like this 1911/.22 Chiappa has built a good one here! The gun functions very well and I've shot 400 rounds thru it only having one FTE and I figured it's the break end period so that was 100 rounds ago. For the price and fun you'll get it's a great buy! One thing I do suggest is when shooting this 1911/.22 keep your wrist firm and straight for if this gun is angle slightly upward the slide won't go all the way back! That came from Chiappa on there site! Hope you enjoy yours as much as I'm enjoying mine!
