The 500 has always been a favorite of mine and these new ones are no exception. Great combo shotgun, comes with multiple chokes and the rifled barrel. Great deal for the price. Use Buds, you won’t regret it.

Both of the barrels had issues with rust. Sending one back to mossberg the other I have spent a few hours cleaning and scrubbing and have it somewhat acceptable. Shouldn’t happen when buying a new firearm.

I've been a Mossberg fan since the early 80's, and shotguns like this are the reason why. Practical, affordable, and most importantly, RELIABLE! This firearm is a key piece for my SHTF preparations.

Positive review: I was truly amazed with the MOS 500 12CMB when I opened the box and inspected it. the action was extremely smooth, the sights were amazing. I found no issues with this item and am extremely familiar with the Mossberg 500 series capabilities. Looking forward to the weather breaking so I can get out to the range before next season.
