• Q: I understand that these magazine are specifically designed for the unique characteristics of the .38 Super cartridge. However, I've heard that these magazines can also be used for the RIA1911A1,Combination 9mm&22TCM cartridges with great satisfactory. Any truth to the matter???

  Joseph, your 9mm pistol is highly likely to function just fine with the .38 Super Magazine. I use MecGar .38 Super magazines in my double stack RIA 9mm 1911 with absolutely zero malfunctions.
  This pistol was shipped with a .38 Super mag because it also comes with a barrel chambered in .22TCM which is a longer cartridge than 9mm and all functioned fine in the .38 Super mag.
