• Q: Hi, im new I have a Marlin XT-22 22LR with threaded barrel will this suppressor fit cuz mine is 1/2 x28 threaded. any other suppressor anyone recommends...?

• Q: Do I have to get an gunsmith to thread my barrel to twist on?

  If your barrel isn't already threaded then you either need a gunsmith to cut 1/2x28 threads or replace your barrel with a threaded one. Depending on the price of a gunsmith a new barrel might be economical and they are not very difficult to install. If your barrel is already threaded you're good to go; I have one of these for my 10/22 takedown that is factory threaded.
