The grip has an enhanced grip texture which enables faster follow -up shots and interchangeable backstraps. This model has a Mil-STD-1913 accessory rail and comes with two magazines.

Excellent quality, extremly accurate and very little recoil. This handgun should last me a lifetime. Bud's service was fast and great as always. FN does have a rebate going on right now also, a sweet add on to Bud's lower price.

Works good, no misfires. It’s accuracy is sort of still out for verdict. I’ve had difficulty with its consistency of grouping. I like the sites and the checkered grip. The point of AIM and point of impact seems touchy. It seems to shoot a little low, but adjust your aim just Slightly higher and point of impact goes high and misses target entirely. I’m still dialing it in.

I bought the 509 in place of a Glock 19 and I couldn't be happier with it. The sights are great and the trigger is smooth. Pair it with some hot loaded Cor-bon or Underwood ammo and it is a concealed carrier's dream. Buds had a great price and the shipping was super fast.

When you buy FN you buy quality. Out of the box this is an incredibly accurate pistol. Other manufacturers you may have to float sights - I have never had to do this with an FN. I have several FN pistols in various calibers and frame sizes - they never disappoint.

The FN 509 is really well built. Its fits great in my hand and shoots pretty good. The trigger is the only con i have about the 509. Its a bit spongy but it works well for what im using it for. I would recommend the FN 509.

I have not been able to locate one "Manual Safety" FN 509. i have come across one website that says "With or Without Manual Safety".
