A little pricey but supper nice, fit and finish was great.. put a factory built Daniel defense upper on it and it turned out great and a sweet shooter..

Bud's shipped this to my lgs w/in about a week of my order. No problems with the transaction and I received notifications at each stage. The receiver itself is a quality piece, very nicely finished apart from 2 fairly minor milling marks on the left side. All of the receiver markings/text are deep and very clean and clear. There are no rough edges, and obviously no parting lines/flash from forging. It's a little pricey for a lower, but I'll admit I justified it because I wanted the aesthetics and uniqueness, not for any functional reason. I installed a BRO lpk w/ their 3.5lb single stage DIT, and everything went together perfectly. The big trigger guard is great if you like to wear gloves, and the mag well has a generous bevel to make mag changes easy. Overall I think this is a great option for someone looking to build a AR that stands out a little from all the others, and I also like to buy from manufacturers in my home state.

The nicest mil billet lower I have seen so far. Black Rain makes high quality AR15 parts. It fit nicely to my billet upper (lantac UAR) and looked like they were made for each other. I am extremely pleased with my purchase. This is my first firearm purchase online. I've always thought buying a firearm online was too much hassle then it was worth, Buds made it painless, easy and worry free. They have helpful videos that boosted my confidence buying from them online. I'm a Buds shopper for life.

Cost a bit more than your standard forged lowers, but these are a great buy for a top quality milled receiver. Looks awesome.
