This is a smooth little rifle! I bought it for my son's birthday, and he loves shooting it. The fit and finish is perfect, and the rifle is as accurate as my son is. I think a Big Boy might be in Dad's future... Bud's service was outstanding. Highly recommend this slick little Henry for your young buckaroo!

we love the henry. western and the manual action is a great attraction for the boy. he loves it and enjoys shooting it like the rifleman. smooth action, it will need a small break-in but maybe 50-100 rounds, with 22, that should go by quick. love the solid wood and feel. goes with our other henry rifles. buds is always a great option and great customer service. thanks hickok45

This Henry is very efficient, super light and very accurate. I'm very happy with it, the lever action is super smooth when reloading, and wherever you put your sights, rest assured that the lead will be there.

looks and shoots good. You must snap it closed like you mean it or it will jam. Its your fault if it does, kids catch on fast. Clear jams with a table knife.

I bought this to teach my grandson to shoot, and for my wife (she is petite, cannot easily shoulder and sight a typical rifle). It is the first Henry rifle I've purchased and I'm very impressed with quality, fit, and finish. Recommended!

Purchased the Henry 22LR youth rifle and it arrived at the FFL in perfect shape. The Henry is all it's cracked up to be,
Super smooth action and almost dead on out of the box. Very happy with both Buds and Henry. Will do more shopping at Bubs for sure.

I'm a FFL, yet I purchase from Bud's because Bud's has stock and prices as good or better than most wholesalers. The Henry Youth Lever rifle in .22 LR, (H001Y) is an excellent rifle. This Youth model is almost full size, but with 4" off the barrel and 1" off the stock as compared to the regular model. I've given 4 to grandchildren. Realize, that the .22 LR cartridge achieves its maximum velocity in the first 16" of barrel. There is no benefit to a longer barrel for a .22 LR. While we have other .22 riles available for the grandchildren, this Henry Youth is the one that get used most, almost 100% of the time. For the money, (dollar versus quality) it is the best built rifle on the market.
