I just got back from the range. I shot 115 grain target ammo thru the it. I shot 100 rounds and had 0 miss feeds. I shot at 20 yards and was pleased with the accuracy. Hitting center of the target. Even did pretty good when firing as fast as I could. I did get the ATF tax stamp so I could put a folding stock on, making it a SBR. I held the SBR like you hold a rifle. I did not put my hand close to the magazine. I think that’s why some people gave this a bad review, saying it jams, on YouTube. Also I bought a second magazine. That are hard to load and I needed a mag loader. The trigger has a long take up. The trigger pull itself is short. Overall I like the gun. It cost as much to make it in to a SBR as the gun itself. The only negative I really have.

Took this baby to the range last week and I have to say I'm impressed that it chambered and ran hollow points! I ran 124 grain SMJHP by Ammo incorporated No ftf or jams once so ever I can say that I can actually rely on it with my life and it is very fun to shoot😊 one thing is it won't feed all hollow points, the projectile cant have a wide hollow and cant have a sharp end or it will get hung on the feed ramp, If use hollow points must have either a flex tip or a more narrow hollow point, it likes Hornady and Ammo incorporated so far as i know from experience you can always try other hollows and see if they work

Awesome reproduction of an MP-40! It works out of the box chewing up the cheapest 9mm I can find with ease. No hiccups with this weapon after a few hundred rounds.

Pretty cool for what it is.. Some will experience FTF/FTE probs. Again these aren't Class III so, yeah. Never had a lot of luck with polishing feed ramps etc of the 3 Ive owned & sent back to GSG. I wouldnt trust my LIFE to it. But looks cool

Very close copy to the real thing. Shooting from the hip or slightly higher is different but holding to actually use the sights would feel very weird. a laser would help but that doesn't seem to fit with the gun's appeal. Without a stock or brace, it's definitely a range toy. I wouldn't use it for selfdefense.

When I took this gun out to the target range I knew that I’d get some people’s attention. If you want to talk with others at a target buy this gun. Even though it’s not an original WWII full auto gun it still will have people coming over to get a better look. I only tried shooting it at 50 yards, which is a good distance for this gun. It shot and fed FMJ ammo flawlessly. I didn’t try flat point or hollow point ammo in it yet. It got a 3”-4” groups. I had it on a bench rest and propped up the back part with a sand bag under the pistol grip. With the long magazine it’s not too easy to shoot on a rest but it can be done. I couldn’t rapid fire it at my gun club because they don’t allow that. Makes it a little boring. This gun is really fun if you can fire it just standing and firing it towards the target. It’s not really for accurate shooting but it did get some good groups at 50 yards. The magazines are pretty expensive. I have 7 now. One in the gun and the other 6 in reproduction MP-40 magazine pouches. Magazines cost around $50.00/piece. For awhile I couldn’t find any so when they were available again I bought 4-5 more. I don’t know how long they’ll be available so I bought more when I could. They’re 25-round magazines, made in Germany, but I’ve seen that you can buy 10-round magazines too. It’s very well made in Germany. All the lettering on the gun are highlighted in white. There’s two flip-up rear sight blades. The front sight posts can be replaced with several different height posts to more accurately set the gun to the distance that you want to shoot the gun. The different post sight heights are included with the gun. I really like this gun as it’s the closest I will get to a real MP-40. My gun club doesn’t allow full auto guns anyway. It’s a really fun gun to shoot, looks great and really gets people’s attention at the target range. You can purchase a folding metal stock for it, like the originals had but need to register the gun if installed. Magazines and the folding metal stock are available through GSG. Other online companies sell the 10 or 25 round magazines too.
