Have wanted a Bull Dog since they came out in 1973….. and since then I had not needed one because it didn’t fit my needs…. Two months ago I pulled the trigger and bought one.. So excellent…Arrived quickly from Buds…during my examination I found a couple of minor problems….because of CharterArms lifetime warranty I called them… I shipped it to them on their dime and in about 10-11 days it was back on my front porch…Very very happy with results…a light carry guns with big bore…and so far on range works perfectly..

Bought this 44 special to carry while hiking. Gun is light and a lot of fun to shoot. I have ran 500+ rounds through it and not one issue. Shoots perfect, and carries well.

Great working pistol, but I had to send it in to fix a clocked barrel I didn’t catch when I looked it over at my ffl.

I liked the black better than the chrome version. I passed it around to other customers at the dealer and we were all amazed how light it is. I got several boxes of ammo and headed up to my favorite shooting spot in the mountains. I set up a soda can about 50-60' and let out a war whoop when I hit it on the very first shot and I continued to make it dance. Now the 44 Special is a big bore and this little gun kicks but is totally manageable. Really fun to shoot. The gun looks great, feels good in my hand, very accurate, it's a keeper, It takes some good effort to pull the trigger but I like that. Watching the Hickok 45 video on You tube convinced me to order it. Bud's took 10 days just to get it out the door but from previous orders I'm used to it and that's what I what I expected. If you want a powerful hand cannon in a small lightweight package, this is it,
