This is one of the most accurate revolvers I’ve ever had. I have been carrying a revolver since 1966. Smith & Wesson has always had a home run with his firearm.

I have owned many S&W revolvers and semi-auto pistols over the years. In my mind, the S&W revolvers are some of the best produced by any manufacturer. I have been in the market for the 686+ 3" barrel for a couple of years, but have not run across one until recently. I found the model I've sought at Bud's and made the purchase. Since receiving the 686, I checked for fit, finish and function. The gun was near perfect, with no deficiencies. I have since taken the 686 and fired about 500 rounds through her. She is accurate, reliable and has a very smooth trigger pull. This will be my desert treking gun, replacing my 586-3 4". As a result of this experience, I hope to also buy a 586 PC or19 PC (both ported) to serve as an EDC during part of the year.
