Darryl, It is a DAO handgun. Before you purchase one, let me tell you of my and a fellow co-workers experience with this gun. We both bought one within a month of each other and had nothing but problems with it. We both sent them in to Bersa authorized repair facilities (mine twice, my co-worker 3 times) but they never could make them right, We both went to YouTube and tried all of the suggested fixes to no avail. Although many folks have had good luck with this handgun, just as many have had problems. My suggestion is to look at some other .380s on Buds. It may cost you a few dollars more but it well worth it in terms of reliability and peace of mind that it will work when needed.

Excellent beginner firearm. Great option for budget, and concealment. The grip is comfortable, and the reliability is on point even though I have only shot 200 rds FMJ and 50 rds JHP. With a bold slide release lever, it makes this firearm easy to manipulate for lefties. The only flaws or this firearm are the sights and magazine safety.

This has been a good little gun. It is reliable and accurate. I can shoot tight groups in rapid fire better on this gun than others. The safety lever/decocker is stiff.

Just picked up at FFL. Gun is very nice and arrived undamaged. Couple things I don't like. Magazine release button is very stiff if you put all 8 rounds in, Hopefully that will loosen up over time. What really makes me mad is the factory ships it with a red warning label attached around the trigger guard with a black zip tie that is put on so tight it's almost impossible to remove it without scratching the finish. Haven't shot it yet, but it fits in the hand very nicely.I have medium size hands. For those of you wondering how big this gun is compared to others . I held it up to my Taurus 709 Slim and it's almost the exact same size length and height wise , but it has a 3.5 inch barrel vs the Slim with a 3" one. Only comes with one mag.

Ok I have it halfway broken in bersa recommended 250 rounds. So far so good pretty accurate aim no failures of any kind American eagle, Speer lawman,pmc spitfire, golden sabers was the ammo used. It's still early but I am very pleased with this purchase this is a great carry piece for all seasons and at a very good price. Good job as usual with buds.
