Designed specifically for the 308 AR-10 platform and its variants, the resilient tip of the ELD Match bullet aids in reliable feed and function, and the propellant is specifically tailored to efficiently operate in the AR-10. The 168 gr. ELD® Match bullet with Heat Shield® tip delivers the excellent terminal performance TAP Precision® is known for, but features a resilient, heat resistant polymer tip that improves the ballistic coefficient, resulting in higher impact velocities, less drop, less wind drift, and more energy on target.

Primarily use this and m118lr in my 18" lwrc repr. Got out to 1100 yards with 3 mil wind holds on steel. Noticeably less drop than m118lr when dialing and shoots just as tight of groups in my rifle. This is the ideal load for shooting 308 for distance in my opinion, with a better bullet than m118lr.

This ammo runs like a champ from 16" Sig 716 Patrol and 18" Aero build. I consistently get MOA results with 5 shot groups at 200 and 300 yards (public range limit) with both platforms. From the 18 inch barrel velocity averages 2536 fps and 2499 fps from the 16" barrel. I have a good stockpile but I wish these rounds were more available at Bud's prices. Here the pricing was considerably better than several other places who have it in stock, so I'll definitely buy more from here if/when it's back in stock.

I took this out the other week with an ar10 with a criterion barrel, wasn't even shooting my best, got 1/2 MOA groups. very good ammo.
