Ruger's PC Carbine rifle features interchangeable magazine wells for use of common Ruger and Glock magazines. Its Dead blow action features a custom tungsten dead blow weight that shortens bolt travel and reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise. The cold hammer-forged, chrome-moly steel barrel is also heavy contoured with fluting. The durable, glass-filled nylon synthetic stock features sling swivel studs, soft rubber buttpad with spacers, and the grip has a proprietary texture for enhanced control. Its CNC-milled aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum billet receiver includes an integrated Picatinny rail and adjustable ghost ring rear and blade front sights. The PC Carbine also has a light, crisp trigger pull and ambidextrous controls. This model has 1/2"-28 threads along with an included thread protector. It ships with SR-Series Pistol and Security-9 magazine well installed, and includes an additional magazine well accepting Glock magazines. NOTE: Older Glock magazines that feature only one magazine latch slot may still be used with the PC Carbine, but the magazine release button must remain on the left side of the rifle as shipped from the factory as the magazine will not properly lock into the magazine well.

This carbine has been flawless so far. It had a bunch of dark grease smudges and fingerprints on the barrel and receiver when I took it out of the box, like the factory didn’t wipe it down before packaging, but no big deal. I swapped in the included Glock magwell before my first trip to the range. It was a 10 minute procedure. The gun has been totally reliable using Glock mags. Out of the box accuracy with iron sights is great. I really like the ghost ring rear. I added a fiber optic front post, as the black factory post was a little hard to see at the indoor range.

I took the carbine to the range for the first time this week and put about 50 rounds through it at 50 yards, and I was satisfied with the groupings even just using the iron sights. Only 1 failure to eject using an aftermarket Glock magazine. It's pretty accurate, low recoil, and easy to clean.I got better results using the Hornady 124 gr jhp ammo than with the 115 and 147. I plan to mount a reliable optic on it next and shoot it out to 100yards. It was easy to swap out the Ruger magazine well for the Glock magazine well; good move Ruger.

Fantastic carbine and you cannot go wrong with anything Ruger. This was my first purchase from Buds and I was astonished by the service they provide. Have made many buys from Buds and will continue to so in the future!

every thing I see about this rifle looks good . Just one thing it may prove to be ok, is the mag. Ruger has some play . Other then that its a very likeable carbine.

Fun, accurate little rifle. Fired 200 rounds, didn't have any problems with cheap ammo either. Great rifle
