So far used it only once. I fired about 25 rounds of Wolf Power Buckshot 12GA 2 3/4" 00 Buck 9 Pellet without a problem.

I received the weapon quickly after ordered. Good looking shotgun, hard to get any semi auto 12 ga. with magazine feed at the moment. It is a bit on the heavy side but I was surprised by the tough built. It seems like a solid gun, better than expected. Unfortunately, I can't tell anyone about the shooting experience as I haven't fired it yet. I read it takes 2 3/4 round with a high fps best ,with its gas tube setting at 2. See what happens..so far I read mostly positive reviews, so I have my hopes up. For the price you can't really go wrong.

The shotgun is fantastic. Just picked it up yesterday and I can't wait to take it out and shoot it. Just want to thank Buds Gun Shop. Like I said can't wait to shoot it.

A bit heavy but not so much that it's jarring. It's a VERY accurate weapon and was putting slugs dead-center of the FSP at 25 yards. Multiple shooters, all with the same results of the rounds going exactly where the weapon was pointing. The weight, no doubt, helps with the accuracy as well as felt recoil mitigation. This shotgun moves straight back with little to no rise and gets back on target quickly. It's also not very picky! We shot #8 bird, #4 Buck, Sabot Slugs and 1oz Slugs and each cycled without issue. The gassing system seems to be dialed in quite well! A fun perk of the layout is that, due to the AK-style layout, we were able to cycle this weapon just as quickly as our ACTUAL AK-47. You're getting a LOT for the money with this.
Hopefully the aftermarket can showcase this awesome weapon and I hope that it's as dependable as it feels because after a few hundred rounds, the only thing you want to do is shoot it some more!

A bit on the heavy side especially with full magazine installed; but, very manageable. Wish there was a means to use a sling for carrying it, then it'd be perfect. C'mon after-market guys!!

Reliable, low-cost shotgun with minimal recoil and a decent trigger. Built on the AK pattern, handling this weapon makes you think n you are holding a magnum AK. It comes with two 5 round magazines. I purchased a JTS OEM 10 round magazine to complete the set. Initially, I found magazine insertion a bit tricky. But, once I learned how to do it, I have no issues with this. Once properly inserted, the magazines stay put. As a "magnum AK," the weapon weighs over 8 pounds unloaded, and this can increase up to 12 pounds depending on magazine capacity when loaded. Several reviewers on You Tube have had feed problems, documented by their videos. I had none. Before going out back to shoot it, however, I disassembled it, and gave it a thorough cleaning, sanded a couple of rough spots on the rails, lubricated it and put it back together. Be certain that the first time you remove the bolt carrier and bolt, that you form a very good mental image of how these are arranged in the weapon. This is not the AK bolt assembly you are accustomed to. Taking a few phone photos might help also. It took me longer than it should to get this assembly back in the M12AK. I watched this a couple of You Tube videos, read the very good owner's manual, all to no avail. The photos weren't clear enough. What did finally work was to pull the bolt into the forward- most position in the carrier, then it slid in easily. This is sort of like what you would do with an AR 15 bolt. At this time, I have fired about 150 rounds including low and high brass 2 3/4" and 3" ammunition. It feeds Estate low power ammo as well as the most powerful 1400 FPS ammo flawlessly. I have had zero feed issues. It does cycle more slowly than other semi automatic shotguns I own. But IO don't see this as a problem. My only gripe is that the rear sight is too low for me. I "fixed" this by purchasing a holographic sight and mounted it on the rail. If you are looking for a personal defence shotgun or one to just trim some tree branches and have some fun with, look no further. Just buy yourself a JTS M12AK 12 GA.

An average gun. The machining and tolerances are below average. The construction materials are below average. The quality of workmanship is average or less. The design is good in concept. It runs well enough but does not inspire confidence. The VR80 is far better.

I bought two of these and gave one to my pops for home defense. First few cycles were with target loads and did not like it much, did not want to eject the light shells. 200 rounds later with a mixture of target, slug, buck and home defense slugs it works flawlessly and is a ton of fun. I recommend getting a 10 rd mag or a drum. This fun is tons of fun and for the money is built to take a beating.
