I purchased a NEW Kimber Micro 9 9mm (2020 Shot Show Special) Stainless from Bud’s Gun Shop and… I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase!!! This is both my first Kimber and my first experience dealing with Bud’s Gun Shop. I suspect it will not be my last… for either. My wife, although not a gun enthusiast, is the best! After 10 years of marriage, she is very supportive of my passion for things that go bang, and also fine with me having a different handgun or pistol to carry every day of a given month. And NO, she will likely never see this post but… how often do you get the chance to brag on your new gun, new gun shop, and your wife all in the same comment section? Exactly.

Love the gun but trigger no so much. Very hard to pull and not crisp at all. But a new trigger job did the trick!

I love my Kimber Micro 9. I can carry it anywhere, whether holstered, or in my back pocket. The only ammo it doesn't seem to like is Blazer Brass. Other than that it feeds any brass cased round pretty much perfectly. It also fits my hands better than I thought it would (extended clip), and I'm not a tiny guy. 6' 2", 220lbs with rather large hands. Super happy with my purchase.

This is my second Kimber Micro 9, so that should tell you something. I have or had all the popular micro 9s, but when I traded my last Kimber for something I thought I really needed, I just didn't carry as often as I felt like I should have. My options were bulky, heavy, ugly and awkward. So I spotted the Kimber Micro 9 with a great "Shot Show" price. After cleaning and field testing this new Micro 9, I knew I had the better every day carry piece. This little pistol is accurate beyond what you would imagine from a 3.1 inch barrel, and partly because it fits well in my hand giving me confidence in every shot. I had zero malfunctions in 50 rounds of fire (baby it's cold outside) from the brand new pistol and as with my last Kimber, I doubt there will be many if any in the future. Did I tell you how handsome this little jewel is? If you think the 1911 styling is good looking as well as a shooter, you'll like the Kimber Micro 9. If you buy a pistol for personal defense and want something that slips easily into a pocket; holster or purse; is confidence building and well built; then give the Kimber Micro 9 a try...you gotta' love it! Sharp looking weapon! However didn’t feed well the with 115 grain ammo. Had 3 failures to feed out of 100 rounds. With 147 grain rounds- zero failures. For the price this gun should feed well with all grains of 9mm!

Great little CC model 1911 from Kimber. The sights could benefit from being fiber optic, but it feels great in the hand when sighting in. The thumb safety will take getting used to with practice. This is going to be a fantastic carry piece.
