Aguila .22 LR 40gr HV Copper plated Solid Point 250rd pack - Ammo

Had 3 or 4 duds within the first 100 rounds. In a previous order, the hollow point HV Aguila I bought had no failures, but these solid point certainly had a little more trouble. Worked fine for cheap practice shooting though.

I am a 40yr shooter and 30+yr gun collector and one of my favorite rounds to shoot is the .22LR. I have about a dozen .22's rifles and hanguns. Though I don't count em I also am huge Ruger MK fan. I own every single type of MK pistol mk's 1-4 for example for the LITE? I bought every color they offered. So I only shoot a dozen but own...Well lets just say a bunch most I just collect I buy doubles for some so I can shoot em. But anyways..This ammo is great very few duds, good velocity and plated. Also pretty quite with my OSS, ACC pilot2 and other 22 or 556 cans. Aguila is one of my favorite ammo in fact at the moment I have 20k+rnds of .22LR alone as I always seem to buy some whenever on sale but I usually keep about 10k rounds of ammo for every caliber gun I use and just rotate em. I do reload (Dillion 1500) but nowadays reloading supplies are getting costly and hard to find. Aguila is one of the cleanest burning 22's imo but yet 22's are very very dirty especially when shooting suppressed. I usually shoot 500 rounds a trips to my range/gun club. I have a select fire AR lower and with a 22 upper, shoot full auto sometimes and Aguila always come thru. May just be me but CCI seems to be slipping in quality as they really have a lot of duds nowadays. I don't usually buy ammo from Buds as I only buy bulk. But Bud's had it for a good price at the time so I bought either 1000rnds. I have my notification on for more just in case the price will be the same. Thankfully things in the gun and ammo industry have finally rebounded, now guns and ammo are plentiful and prices have come way down almost to normal, of course NOT 2019 prices. Even without the hardships the US had ammo prices would have went up anyway its called the economy everything always goes up in price. Good ammo highly recommended. Stay Safe!

When shooting my Marlin Model 60 at Appleseed Clinics, bulk pack Aguila HV is one of my go to rounds -- consistent cycling, acceptable accuracy. Now if we could simply return to pre-CoVID pricing ... Be warned, UPS is very, very slow, so place orders accordingly. however, BGS customer service is EXCELLENT, answered my questions promptly. 4-star rating because the ammo is good, not great.

I try to buy in bulk as much as I can and Aguila .22 HV works for me. I will buy more for my semi autos.
