• Q: Lead free primers are pretty rare (lead free bullets are easy). It's hard to find any info on these bullets, either here or under their brand name (GBW Cartridge). Anyone know if these REALLY have both a lead free bullet AND primer?

  Hi Steven and welcome. I am inclined to believe so. They use the same primers as the American Eagle uses for their Lead Free Primer without the sealant. Cheers and stay safe!
• Q: Can these safely be used in a .223 AR? I read that it's ok to use 223 in a 556 AR but not vise versa

  These are loaded to .223 SAAMI Specification, and can be shot in a 5.56 or 223 Chamber with no issue.

• Q: Is this ammo corrosive?

  No sir most corrosive ammo is "Steel cased" spam can, surplus ammo with beridian primers, this is 55gr solid copper lead free primer, this is a copper bullet so it can be used in place that restrict the use of lead projectiles such as indoor shooting ranges or places that don't allow you to hunt with lead rounds, this is good to go and non corrosive.
• Q: I can't find any info on this ammo anywhere. Is it solid, hollow point or open tip/ boat tail? What is the speed in FPS? Etc.

  Stephen, the ammunition I received is a 55gr solid base and flat tip copper bullet. It chronograph-ed only 3124 fps 5 shot average from my 20 inch barreled Rock River Arms AR with a 1 in 8 twist rate. As a comparison, Winchester .223 55gr FMJ averaged 3224 fps. Cheers and stay safe!
