EXCELLENT Weapon. Love this tool. Have not experienced a single ftf, fte. All ammo I've used has gone bang just as it should. Bud's did their thing as they have for me in the past so I give Bud's 5 stars also.

Always wanted an AK. Now have both that and AR. Basically considering my Gun wants met...One more would be "The Right Arm of the Free World" I.E. the FN FAL. But hard to find and expensive. So opening box of my new rifle, no surprises. Everything as it should be, and nothing broken or missing. Never had one issue with Buds, this is at least my fourth purchase with them. Gun not doused in cosmoline, but fairly heavily lubed. I had researched the AK extensively. All the internet said either Zastava or Arsenal best one to get. Well although extremely appealing, couldn't justify more $$$ for Arsenal, so watched Bud's till they got mine in. Really wanted extendable stock, as I'm tall and AK's are short. Thus, I went with this one. Stock just perfect for me. Love the way weapon made so strong, run out of bullets, club 'em. So happily, learned how exceedingly simple takedown/reassembly is. Just laid the thing on the table and looked at it for a time. Not much else says "bad" as this rifle does. Not crazy about the sites, very basic and kinda crude compared with my AR. But may get a red dot soon. Went all out for this one, week I ordered it bought 500 rounds of 7.62X 39, a nice case, site adjustment tool, and two 30rd, and two 20 rd.mags. So how's it shoot? Can't say that yet ! Circumstances (life) have kept me from range. Only indoor one at all close, (and worth a schmidt) is 30 miles one way. Biggest bummer about this is how much 7.62 x 39 has gone up! Indoor ranges only want you shooting brass case. Cheapest I could find anywhere online was about $9.50 a box of 20. Even the old Tula, wolf steel case ammo like 11.99 a box! Funding this bullet hose no easy task!!!! Still, this was my best moment of 2023. It's a gorgeous, righteous piece, buy one - your choice whether you want it modern, or traditional furniture and look. Totally satisfied with mine-and haven't shot it yet. know it's going to be great

My rifle came as described to my local FFL dealer. My rifle (Zastiva M70) arrived in perfect condition. The rifle is much more than i expected. Fit and finish ( i got the black polymer ) is perfect. The quality is there on this one for sure. Buds shipped quickly but i could not track it once it left the store.( UPS fault not Buds). I would not hesttate to order again from them.

The Serbians know a thing or two about making quality AK-47s. If you are looking for a classic AK style, with modern polymer construction, this is your guy. From the grip to the tip, it is basically a traditional AK refined with modern materials. The hogue handguard is very comfortable. The grip texture and angle works well for me. From the grip back, you have something a bit different: an adjustable LOP stock with adjustable cheek riser. Very nice. My only complaint is the magazine well. I found it would not accept steel reinforced Magpul AK magazines. All polymer Magpul versions are fine, as well as Zastava steel and polymer varieties. If you want picatinny rail for optics, there are a number of 3rd party options out there. I chose a Midwest Industries rail with quick release attachment. Has worked out well so far. This is a heavy, well-built firearm. Shooting it is a pleasure. Lugging it around on a sling, not so much. But that is an eternal trade-off. There is a very similar version in 5.56/.223. I can see the appeal, sharing ammunition with your AR-15, and what not. But I am of the mind that if it is not 7.62 x 39 (steel case, of course), we are not talking a proper AK-47. Some may say, you need to go a step further and get walnut furniture, or some type of wood, with a metal butt stock "pad". Go modern. You will not regret it.

So I received my m70 and it was damaged on top of the dust cover.since I didn't check it at iffl dealer buds wouldn't take it back.But zastavas warranty is great sent an email and got a new cover sent out.Other than that great rifle shoots great.

I am in love, this is a superior rifle. The mechanics are well tuned and solid. It out performs my brothers CA Ak-47. I do want to eventually change the stock. Love the mounting rails.
