I don't see as many practical defense/duty uses for these rounds as most common JHP's, but if you need a tough bullet, at respectable velocities, do defeat potential hard barriers like wood, sheet metal, or glass, it is certainly priced right. (Thanks to Bud's for that!) In the demonstrations of it that I've seen online, they don't typically do as much damage as expanding JHP's, BUT they don't over penetrate like FMJ's either. It's more of a novelty for me personally, but I've found it to be 100% reliable in any firearm I've put it through, and not nearly as expensive as the Lehigh stuff.
