• Q: I'd be looking at this as a base rifle to build on . What... if any are necessary upgrades ? I hear a lot of chatter about enhanced firing pins, buffer tubes, and agb. Also can anyone speak for the longevity of the BCG?

  Since this is 7.62x39 I'd get an extra bolt and insure it's made from 158 carpenter steel. Upgrade the extractor spring, find a titanium firing pin, angled foregrip. Just my thoughts.

  following features::
  ❌ ○ Pistol grip - a grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the firearm.
  ○ Thumbhole stock
  ❌ ○ Folding or telescoping stock
  ○ Grenade or flare launcher
  ❌ ○ Flash suppressor or flash hider
  ○ Foregrip - a grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the barrel and in front of the action
  .

  You will not find an AR15 like this that is CA complaint unless it has a fixed magazine.

  The following are prohibited:
  ✘ Semi-automatic rifles that are capable of receiving a detachable magazine and has at least two of the following features:
  ❌ 1. Folding / telescoping stock
  ❌2. Pistol grip

  ❌4. Flash suppressor
  ❌5. Threaded barrel
  6. Grenade launcher

  Hi Dean, there are no restrictions on steel cased ammo. From the owners manual - "Radical Firearms systems are designed to function with a
  variety of brands and types of factory manufactured ammunition in the appropriate caliber. NOT ALL AMMUNITION WILL PRODUCE THE SAME RESULTS. Radical Firearms recommends that after you read and understand this manual, you go to the range and fire different ammunition which is appropriate to the caliber of your firearm. Once you find the ammunition which functions best - keep using it. To protect you and others from danger, and your firearm from being severely damaged, Radical Firearms does not recommend the use of any
  handloaded or remanufactured ammunition."
