Kimber K6xs Ultra-Lightweight .38 Spl 2" 6-Shot Revolver

THE K6XS™ IS AN EXTRA SMALL, ULTRA-LIGHTWEIGHT, ALLOY FRAMED REVOLVER with all the features of its larger framed sibling the K6s™. The K6xs™ uses the same lightweight, non-stacking trigger system from the K6s™. Also features a fluted glass-bead finish cylinder and barrel slot cut to further lighten the K6xs™ for the perfect carry weight. The big news for Kimber’s K6s™ line is the addition of the K6xs™. Not only is it the lightest K6s ever, it offers something others in its category don’t: six-round capacity. Built specifically for concealed carry and chambered in .38 SPL +P, the aluminum alloy frame and fluted cylinder keep the revolver’s total weight under a pound (15.9 ounces). The K6xs™ wears a silver KimPro II finish on the frame and a glass-bead finish on the 2-inch, stainless-steel barrel. The Hogue rubber Cobblestone grips with finger grooves make it comfortable to shoot.

Absolutely love this little revolver. Trigger is excellent. It can pull smoothly through or stage to a single action like pull. 6 shots is a nice plus too. Exactly what I was looking for in an ultra light weight concealed carry gun. Some VZ grips make it even better for pocket carry in my opinion.

My new EDC that has replaced my 642 pocket revolver. Absolutely superb quality, ergonomics and pointability. The 6 shots and 15.9 ounces are a no brainer when comparing other small revolvers with 5 shot cylinders. Thanks again Buds!

I am really happy with this revolver. I bought it to replace a Smith and Wesson 640 that is my wife's carry gun. She was always complaining how heavy it was. The Kimber is a half a pound lighter which doesn't seem like much but since she carry's the gun everyday it is noticeable. The trigger on the Kimber is much better than the S&W, doesn't stack, steady resistance the whole way with a nice crisp break. I am going to buy a second Kimber as it will now be my carry gun replacing a S&W 9mm pistol. The 38 special +p loads can be found that have much better ballistics than the 9mm and no worry of a stove pipe with the Kimber so I am going back to a revolver for my carry gun. The ability to shoot a DAO revolver from inside a coat pocket (or purse) is an additional benefit.

Excellent carry revolver. Although the grips are fine, I had to change them to the ones that originally came on my K6s. Looks and feels better in my opinion.
