Post WWII production Walther P38's with aluminum frame.  Cache's of old military guns like this are dwindling with each passing day.   DO NOT miss your chance to own one of these pieces of history.

The P.38 was a cutting edge semi-automatic pistol design, which introduced technical features still used today in current commercial and military semi-automatic pistols, including the Beretta 92.  The German military used these handguns well into the late 1990's.  The Walther P38 is a perfect example of German engineering that knows no competition.

We have a very limited supply of these pistols.

The decocker does not work. Only about 40% of the finish is remaining

I have bought from buds guns before and got great service and a great product. I can’t say that for this product this gun looks like it was dragged behind a pick up truck on a gravel road for 10 miles. The barrels rifling is almost nonexistent. It has large pits and rust. The frame looks like the coat of a Dalmatian dog. This was a fairly expensive conversation piece at best.

This pistol I received was pretty disappointing. Not in good condition. Very very used condition. I mean you guys should see this thing. Crazy. I feel like my trust in buds guns just went down a little bit. Things coming apart as I shoot it and the accuracy is terrible. I feel like I spent too much money for a gun that was labeled good, when in all reality is pretty used up. If I was a little wiser I probably would not have accepted the firearm, but I am still learning. I know what I'm doing however and can obtain accuracy with most firearms and know how to disassemble and clean them properly. Big thumbs down

I just took the one I got to a cerakote finish shop, ordered some wood grips, and hopefully after the additional $300 spent I'll have a like new bad a** P38. Mine was spray painted on the aluminum or sloppily touched up by somebody anyway and right side grip panel was cracked. Blue was 80% worn off. I guess a "good" rating means "functional" and that it is. It does go "bang" and is accurate.

Definitely nowhere near 80-90%, garbage.

On a whim I decided to order one of these PostWar P38's. Mine looks like a train wreck. It is dirty and in some places there is alot missing blueing exposing the aluminum. It would probably take more work to clean it up than it is worth. YMMV.

Always a pleasant experience with Bud's, that's why I continue to return. However... This gun is pretty dirty. Clip came out like there was sand in the clip compartment.i realize these are old guns post war, with age and use, but I will be taking it to a gunsmith after a cleaning for a once over to verify safety. It's a cool pistol, but not normal for buds to ship a firearm in this condition. We'll see.

p38 pistol. I would rate the pistol I received as good to very good. Clean no rust a little worn from holster but really nice. Works great super barrel. Good price for a nice piece of history. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to shoot or adding to your collection.
