This is a very accurate and beautiful pistol. I love the G10 grips. They really allow you to lock in a nice tight grip. The scalloping on the front and back strap is good for locking in that grip but not too agressive to be a pain when sending lots of rounds down range. This pistol is dang accurate. It is so accurate that it makes me look like an expert shooter. The trigger is nice crisp, which is why I like 1911 pistols. The build of the pistol is nice tight which shows that some care was put into it by making the parts fit so well together. I really like the pelican like pistol case that Springfield has been putting out with their pistols. Overall this is an awesome 1911 pistol that no one would regret purchasing. The only downside I see with the pistol is the very basic 7-round steel magazines. They are adequate but are no Wilson Combat or Chip McCormick. Other than the mags this pistol has my complete stamp of approval.

Wow... this gun is built tight! When locked up in battery it takes some effort to get it out of battery... not as tight as my Les Baers, but pretty close! Fit and finish is amazing, trigger is sweet, love the new front and backstrap texture. I have no complaints about this pistol!
