Details

The Ruger LCP was introduced at the 2008 SHOT show and immediately made a name for itself in the concealed carry world. Several improvements later, (i.e. improved trigger), it re-emerged as the LCP II, a model which remains a forerunner in the personal defense market. This internal hammer-fired semi-auto is chambered in 380 ACP and features fixed sights and a 6+1 capacity. This particular model is finished in the distinctive Moonshine Camo pattern.

Great gun second one I bought. Only got about a box of ammo thru it but I know it will be just as reliable as the first one I bought for my wife, i have well over 300 rounds thru hers.

The incredibly low price Bud's had for just a short time got me to bite on this II though I've had a LCP for years. Last round hold-open and SA trigger are nice at the range but I don't see them as real important in a tiny pocket pistol meant for a typical civilian personal defense situation and nothing beyond that. Actually, there's something to be said for a long-pull DA trigger on a handgun that will likely be used only at close range. The II especially should always be carried in a pocket holster covering the trigger (one is provided in the box though you can buy better). The original LCP looks a smidgen smaller than the II but the difference is negligible. Between the LCP and LCP II, my advice would be buy whichever one you prefer. IMO they're both among the best of breed if you want a highly concealable .380 that's under a pound loaded and won't raid your retirement to buy.

This isn't the only handgun I have that can easily be concealed even in summer weight clothes but if I were going to have only one for that purpose it would be a pretty good choice. Yes, even in the "Moonshine Camo" dip job. I'm not a fan of gimmicky finishes on firearms but this one really doesn't look bad at all once you have it in hand.

This was my first dealing with Bud. Was at first a little upset, that i had to join the Bud membership to buy the special priced gun. but then I realized all the other opportunities I got with it.
ordered my gun, which come right on time and in perfect condition. Enjoy and be proud to be a Bud Member now.

Great little pocket gun. Was not a huge fan of the original LCP; however, the LCP II is a huge improvement. As always, Buds was great in getting it to my FFL pretty quickly.

This moonshine camo is spot on. I was worried the the colors wouldn\'t match up to my operation but it\'s perfect. I lose this thing atleast once a day it blends in so we\'ll. All jokes aside, it was one hell of a price with the black Friday sale. Who cares what it looks like. Just rattle can it.

As far as buds, great service.

fantastic concealed carry pocket pistol. Bud's had the best price around.

Very compact for pocket carry. Nothing sticking out to catch on when drawing from pocket. No glitches when firing. Very accurate for small gun. Amazing price. Should have white dots on sights, difficult to see in sights in poor light. Top of trigger finger could get pinched between trigger and body on sharp edge.

Buds pricing is set by a computer program that takes into account may factors including availability, how fast they sell, restocking costs that can sometimes make a big price difference between models of the same gun. here is what Buds says about pricing From Buds “Our website updates every 20 minutes, 24/7, with our current inventory and replacement cost. We do not price our guns manually based on our cost in each, rather we use a live download from manufacturers and distributors to set our price based on our current replacement cost. As our cost changes, the corresponding website price of each make/model will change up/down accordingly. Although our profit margin remains unchanged, our advertised prices will change frequently, sometimes several times per day

The LCP is the 1st Generation. The new Ruger LCP II was widened to give a more comfortable grip for larger-handed shooters, and the slide grew to accommodate forward serrations and taller sights. Gone is the long and heavy revolver-like pull of the LCP original. The LCP II has a crisper trigger pull and break.
