I love Glocks. After my wife got another brand of .380. I tried it and decided the .380 ACP was more fun to shoot than my bigger guns, but still deadly. So I bought this Flat Earth Factory Night sight model 42 and another basic model 42 in standard Glock black. I liked them, but they were, to varying degrees, difficult to operate. I and others found the controls to be too flush to the gun. The G42s kicked more than other brands of factory issue 380. Both ate any ammo I fed them. Both hold a decent group out of the box. but I could make them better.
I changed both guns factory recoil springs to aftermarket ultra heavy tungsten springs. They add quite a bit of forward weight.the recoil and barrel rise are both diminished palpably. I then bought a drop in threaded barrel for the basic black model. I added elevated night sights to replace the Glock factory standards. The little 380 handled a 9mm suppressor with the greatest of ease. I felt like James Bond. IT EVENED SHRANK THE GROUPINGS of my test fire with its longer barrel.
The same aftermarket barrel can drop into the Flat Earth G42, but the factory night sights are too low. The sights Glock night sights are Trigicon and I would never replace them until they they quit glowing. even then I will just get the OEM part from Glock.

Bud's came through. They had exactly what I wanted in the Glock 42 and the product was exactly as described. I've put about 200 rounds through it and all is good.
